Longing for 'Gula Apong' ice cream during a quiet conversation between Mrs. Siti Fatimah and Mr. Pengiran Muhammad 'Adil, following their relocation from Bintulu, Sarawak, to Mrs. Siti Fatimah's hometown in Kangar, Perlis, inspired the couple to embark on an ice cream business centered around 'Gula Apong' in 2019. Today, their venture is widely recognized as MOKTI'S.
Mokti's has evolved into a substantial enterprise with two ice cream factories, 42 employees, and 51 outlets under license. Mrs. Siti Fatimah focused on perfecting the "Gula Apong" ice cream recipe, while Mr. Pengiran Muhammad 'Adil managed administrative and logistical aspects. The business has grown systematically, boasting two factories with significant production capacities. As of June 15, 2021, they had 33 operational stores and 20 undergoing renovations. Mokti's aims to empower Malaysians to establish their own successful businesses.
